Election day is Monday, October 24, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Advance voting days are October 7-14 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Visit www.toronto.ca/elections for information on how, when and where to vote.

Eligible voters can use the MyVote web application to check, add or update their information on the voters’ list.

You can choose mail-in voting as an alternative to in-person voting. Applications for mail-in voting packages are accepted as of September 1, 2022. The deadline to apply is Friday, September 23 at 4:30 p.mClick here to learn more about mail-in voting.

The City will mail out voter information cards to eligible voters starting September 26, 2022.

To vote in Toronto’s municipal election, you must be:

  • a Canadian citizen; and
  • at least 18 years old; and
  • a resident in the city of Toronto; or
  • a non-resident of Toronto, but you or your spouse own or rent property in the city; and
  • not prohibited from voting under any law.

You may only vote once in the city of Toronto municipal election regardless of how many properties you own or rent within the city. You must vote in the ward where you live.
